Road safety and driver training specialists from both the Highways Agency and Dorset Road Safe will be present to provide help and advice to motorists, as well as discussing all aspects of driving on today’s roads, including information on local driving refresher courses and refresher training .

Representatives from the emergency services will also be on hand to offer advice and answer any questions.

Alexis Wood, event organiser for the Highways Agency, said: "The roads and motorways have changed significantly over the past 50 years and it is important that drivers are equipped with an up to date knowledge and understanding of today’s roads."

"This event is a useful way to get drivers up to speed on these latest developments and to help them to stay safe on the roads."
