A new road safety channel has been launched on the internet by the Driver Standards Agency (DSA).
Available to view for free via the popular video-streaming website YouTube, the new DSA channel - youtube.com/dsagov - offers advice to learner drivers and other road users through a number of road safety videos .
Content includes a selection of short films for car and motorcycle test candidates, titled 'Are You Ready?, along with examples of the new case study questions that were introduced into the DSAs theory driving test last week.
Users can also embed video content directly into their own websites or blogs, share it via email, and link to it through social networking sites such as Facebook .
Nick Carter, director of strategy and performance at the DSA, said: "Using YouTube will let the DSA reach a wider audience than ever before we want to talk to our audiences on the platforms we know they use."
"By putting our videos on YouTube, we're catering for the growing number of people whose first choice to find information is to go online."
According to the DSA, the road safety channel was viewed more than 42,000 times by web users during testing.
